\nI have the first of my 2019 Diwali cards here for you today!<\/div>\n
\nIt seems as though, diyas are my theme this year..my hand has been drawn only to the various diyas that I had from my Craftangles stamp sets! <\/div>\n
\nI have not added any sentiments.. somehow, I didn’t feel like doing so.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nFor the first card, I started out with a die cut square of gold mirror cardstock. I die cut the sunburst (memory box die) and added the panel to a white card panel with 3D foam tape to give it dimension.<\/div>\n
\nI then stamped and watercoloured the diya from the Craftangles  ‘diwali wishes’ stamp set<\/a>  <\/div>\n
\nand added it to the centre with 3D foam tape.<\/div>\n
\nI just love how it turned out.<\/div>\n

\nFor the second card, I started by inkblending Tim Holtz ‘Mustard seed’ ink through the Craftangles ‘Mandala reloaded’ stencil,<\/a> onto a piece of white cardstock. I left the centre white to create a glow.<\/div>\n
\nI then stamped and watercolored and fussy cut the lotuses (on Craftangles watercolour paper) from <\/div>\n
\nthe Craftangles ‘Hello Lovely’ stamp set<\/a> along with a diya from the Craftangles ‘Happy Deepavali’ stamp set.<\/a><\/div>\n
\nI then arranged them on the mandala background to finish the card.<\/div>\n

\nFor the third card, I started by ink blending Tim Holtz ‘Fired Brick’ and ‘Carved Pumpkin’ onto a square white card stock panel using Craftangles ‘Leaf lace’ stencil<\/a>. I love how it sits beautifully on a square panel.<\/div>\n
\nOnce coloured, I gold embossed a little diya from the Craftangles ‘Diwali Sentiments’ stamp set <\/a>and fussy cut it and adhered it in the centre of the mandala with 3D foam tape.<\/div>\n
\nIts simple, but I think it packs a punch.<\/div>\n
