In crafting, over time I’ve realized the importance of texturing and layering. It is very important to add texture in order to increase the beauty of your project. Even a simple texture can sometimes lead to a beautiful and elegant project. Texture paste is ideal for adding dimensions to a variety of surfaces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Texture paste can be applied to surfaces using a palette knife. It can also be used along with stencils to add different shapes and dimensions to the project. You can even sometimes use the most basic things like bubble wraps, paintbrushes, sticks etc and draw freehand to create textures using pastes. These pastes can also be beautifully combined with things like paints, sprays, watercolours, glitters and can be tinted to add even more texture and depth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Texture in terms of art is defined as one of the 7 important artistic elements along with the line, colour, shape, space, form and value. It helps to build a psychological association or it helps to create a focal point and build dimension in the art.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
