I am Swapna Nair from Magic Paper Pixie sharing beautiful floral cards. With International Women\u2019s day just around the corner, it\u2019s the perfect time to express your appreciation towards all the women in your life and what better way than to send them a lovely card with a personal note. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today I am here to inspire you with some quick and elegant floral cards with the gorgeous Craftangles Flower Stamps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For this month\u2019s challenge I wanted to try and use the flower stamp set on different types of card bases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the first card I have used a dark card base, a blue colored cardstock that I found in my stash. I simply stamped the gorgeous flower from the stamp set \u201cyou are in my thoughts\u201d on white cardstock and did very minimal coloring with Copics. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I wanted the floral image to be predominantly white so decided to give it little shades of blue. I wanted to give the background cardbase a little texture so I decided to ink blend on it. I used a dark blue ink from Hero Arts and the distress oxide ink black soot around the edges of the panel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once I colored the stamped image, I then fussy cut the image and mounted it with foam tape on the panel. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I finally embossed the sentiment on a piece of black cardstock and mounted it with foam tape on the card panel. I further embellished the card with some water clear droplets and a white gel pen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the second card, I wanted to use a lighter background so I decided to use an off white card base and used the Craftangles hexagonal stacks stencil with some \u201cworn lipstick\u201d distress oxide, to give a little more interest to the background. I colored the stamped image with some of pink copics, fussy cut them and mounted it with a foam tape on the panel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then decided to stamp the image directly on the panel using the memento black ink and embellished the card with some water clear droplets and sequins. Before stamping the sentiment, I used some greyish black watercolor and splattered a little paint on the panel with the help of a paintbrush.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the third and final card I used a different floral stamp set called \u201cJust a Note\u201d. I absolutely love the flowers in this stamp set. For this card\u2019s background I decided to go ahead and use one of the pattern papers from Craftangles \u201cFelicity\u201d collection. The papers I chose has a vintage look along with a few printed script along the edges, I added a few more script prints with a stamp I had with me with the help of the distress oxide ink vintage photo. I then fussy cut the stamped images and mounted them on the panel with some foam tape. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
