Hello Crafty friends,
I am Ranjitha Sathya. Hoping you are doing great. I am here with some quick, simple but unique cards inspirations for you. I’m sure every crafter would have some stencils in their stash. So today, I am here with some clean and simple ideas on how you can make beautiful cards using stenciled backgrounds
Before going ahead with today’s post I would like to remind you that, the theme for our Monthly Challenge<\/a> is “Flowers or Womens day”. It would be fun to see you join the challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today I am here to share with you a bunch of cards that I made using some stenciled backgrounds. These are quick and easy to make Absolutely beginner friendly. The best part is, one background can be turned into multiple cards.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For the first background, I used Craftangles swirly circle stencil and inked up shades of yellow and green distress oxides through it. I then turned this background into a card by cutting out a circle with it and then adding a black die cut of a bunch of roses and then a sentiment to finish up the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the second background, I used the chevron stencil and taped it onto a card base such that it covered only a third of it. Then I inked up blue and green distress oxides through it. I then turned this beautiful background into a card by adding a black die cut flourish and stamped a sentiment to finish the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the third background, I blended two different shades of pink onto a white card panel. Over this I layered up white pigment ink through a circle mask stencil .I made sure that I varied the pressure while inking and also changed the sizes of circles as I inked the white ink. This created a beautiful “Bokeh like Effect ” background.
I turned this background into two different cards. For the first one, I die cut the background into 3 small circles and then added them onto an A2 sized card base. Then added a black die cut butterfly and a die cut sentiment to finish the card.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the second card, I simply cut a rectangular piece out of the background and then layered it with a black die cut rose bunch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
