Hello folks!!
I hope all of you are doing great. Nonetheless I decided to make two ‘Because you are Mermazing’ cards , a little wave-y out here with some rainbow colors. This month we also have the challenge as Anything Goes, and you can find all the details here Monthly Challenge

So today I have mermaid themed cards for you, one is an interactive card which has a clamp shell opening and while the other is an ink blended background to create the depth of water while the little mermaid dances away.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lets have a look at the first card,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For my first card, I have used a panel measuring 4.25x 5.5 inches from the dual textured white cardstock by Craftangles. I have debossed it using the mermaid scales debossing cover die and then start ink blending in picked raspberry, dried marigold, squeezed lemonade, evergreen borough, tumbled glass and shaded lilac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then create the mechanism by cutting a slit and pass the spine made of the paper through it such that the jaws are outside on which our little mermaid shall sit.
I also stamp the mermaid in to the same cardstock using the Black Dye ink and color it using the alcohol markers. Once that it done I fussy cut it. I have also fussy cut a lot of clamp shells and little fish and a tortoise.
And then paste it on to the jaws of the spine. And tadaa it is done.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For my next card, I have ink blended and saturated the background, for that i have used the distress inks in tumbled glass, salty ocean, srormy sky and chipped sapphire, I gently ink beld the whole background in upper and lower layers. On the corners, using the jet black ink i add some depth. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

To add the textures of the sun rays I stencil using the Craftangles Rays Stencil on the top and Waves stencil on the lower part of the mermaid. To complete the look I stamp the sentiments Make a Splash using the Dye Ink in Jet Black.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
