\nI am Ishani (Quillish<\/a>) and I am here to invite you to play along at our monthly challenge , where the theme is “BIRTHDAY<\/span>” . I am sure if you are a crafter you always have a kitty of handmade cards\/gifts ready, always. So, why not make some and also get a chance to win prizes?<\/div>\n

\nOur challenge is not restricted to using CrafTangles products or any other brand products. You can use any products till the time you are linking back new projects and your projects are Birthday theme. However, if you use CrafTangles products that will definitely win you some brownie points when our designers will choose the winners.<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nTo inspire you to join in, today I have three cards and ideas for using CrafTangle’s stencils<\/a> and the very cool CrafTangles Glimmer Pastes<\/a>. <\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

\nOmbr\u00e9 Shimmer card<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n

<\/u><\/b><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
\nFor my first card I used three shades of Glimmer paste namely Glimmer Paste in Red Garnet<\/a>, Copper<\/a> and Gold dust<\/a>. and blended them through CrafTangles geometric flowers stencil<\/a> on a diecut Craftangles – Midnight black cardstock<\/a> . I used two different sentiments to make one and heat embossed it with Ranger embossing powder Super fine in Gold<\/a>  on the piece of the same <\/span><\/span>Craftangles – Midnight black cardstock<\/a> and fussy cut it. I also added Craftangles  Vellum paper<\/a> behind my sentiment for added interest. <\/div>\n

\nI adhered my panel on a side folding A2 size cardbase made with CrafTangles – Desert sand cardstock<\/a>.<\/div>\n

\nOmbr\u00e9 Floral card<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n

\nFor my second card I die cut my CrafTangles – Dual texture paper<\/a> with CrafTangles steel border-stitched -scallops die<\/a> used CrafTangles Floral mesh stencil<\/a> and blended Picked raspberry Distress ink at the centre<\/a> of each flower and blended with Distress oxide in spun sugar<\/a> for the outsides of the flower. Then I put Craftangles glimmer paste in – snow white<\/a> over the stencil for the beautiful glitter. I also took CrafTangles Rose pink cardstock<\/a> and cut it through the CrafTangles steel border-stitched -scallops die<\/a> and applied a layer  of  Craftangles glimmer paste in – snow white<\/a> . <\/div>\n

\nI used a happy Birthday word die to cut through a CrafTangles Midnight black cardstock<\/a> three times and stuck them together. I used Ranger Clear embossing powder<\/a> to heat emboss the die cut for a glossy look and adhered it on my panel. I rounded my corners with a corner punch and stuck my two panels on a top folding notecard that I made of CrafTangles – Dual texture paper<\/a>.<\/div>\n

\nMasculine Birthday card<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n
\n

\nI often struggle with Masculine cards. But this stencil by CrafTangles – Herringbone<\/a> paired up with CrafTangles Glimmer paste – Sapphire Blue<\/a> is so cool, I just knew I could use it for a Masculine Birthday card. I cut a front panel from Craftangles – Midnight black cardstock<\/a> and used the Amethyst paste over the stencil. I cut ‘happy’ from a die from my stash and stacked and stuck three of the diecuts and heat embossed Birthday from the From all of us stamp set<\/a>.<\/div>\n

\nI adhered my panel to a top folding CrafTangles – Dual texture paper<\/a> . The smooth side of this particular cardstock reminds me of the cards we used to buy from stores. If you haven’t bought them yet, you must try. They are great for blending inks on, for basic Copic coloring and ofcourse as a base for a card.<\/span><\/div>\n
