I am so very behind schedule at the moment that I really need some elves to help me – do you happen to know any?! Today, I am sharing a selection of Christmas cards made using apertures. An aperture is a basically a shape cut out of card using either a craft knife, scissors or die.

<a href="https://www.craftadda.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/CUXmasApMain.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; It’s the simplest card of them all but a definite favourite.

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; I then cut a slightly smaller square of red card and die cut a circle that fit the sentiment. Finally I matt and layered on to orange card and finally on to my white card base.

Next up I decided to make a card using 2 circular apertures in different sizes.

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; white card and matted on black. I added images from the Santa Claus stamp set which I coloured with my chameleon pens. The sentiment is a real fun one.

My final card is a firm favourite. It came about after I couldn’t think of what to do as a background and is definitely a background you’ll be seeing again. To make it you simply swipe your distress ink mini across the card.

<div class="separator" style="clear: both;
