Hello, everyone! It’s Henri\u00ebtte here and today I’m showing two different ways of using art waxes, on a black and on a white background.<\/p>\n

My project started with these plastic pumpkins.<\/p>\n

First I painted them with a coat of gesso.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
\n\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\nThen I painted them black using acrylic paint.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

Next I added the art waxes; I used iridescent pink, violet and green.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n

I did repeat this process, but this time the background of the pumpkins was much lighter, more pastel colored.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\nThe picture doesn’t show it well but in real life they have a very delicate shine.<\/p>\n

\n\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n

\nYou can see the difference between the black and white backgrounds very well. The black is more bold with much shine and the white\/pink is much softer.<\/p>\n

Then I decorated the pumpkins with flowers, laces and paper leaves.<\/p>\n

\nThe lighter colored pumpkins are more in a shabby chic style.<\/p>\n
