It’s Shabneez here and I’ve luckily just received my latest DT package from CrafTangles containing the August release items.  I’ve opted to showcase the stamps in this post together with washi tape which I have a lot of in my stash as I love them!<\/p>\n

\nFor my first card I used the Birthday Boy Stamp set and absolutely loved the ‘bring on the cake’ sentiment so I stamped it as a background using chalk ink as I like the soft effect it gives but you can use whatever ink you have in your stash.  <\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\nI stamped the birthday boy image and coloured him in using my Chameleon Pens, this time I used the colour tops and you can see the effect I got on the boy’s hair. I then fussy cut the image, added a strip of washi tape to the bottom of my card and stuck the boy on with foam tape.  Simple but effective I think!<\/div>\n

\nFor my next card I used the image from the You and Me stamp set.  I coloured her in with my Chameleon Pens and then used a cross stitch banner die to cut out the image.  I used chalk ink around the die cut to soften the image.<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\nI then stamped the ‘It’s Your Birthday’ sentiment from the Birthday Girl set but masked off parts of the stamp so I could have the sentiment stacked instead of in a line.  To assemble the card I made a tent fold A6 card and added a strip of paper from the CrafTangles Be My Valentine paper pad.  I then stuck on the banner and added glitter washi tape cut into cute banners.  I finished by adding glitter enamel dots.<\/div>\n

\nFor my final card I stamped and coloured in the Birthday Girl image like the others then fussy cut her out.<\/div>\n

\nNext I die cut a rectangle and stamped the sentiment on the top.  I added the perfect candle washi tape to the top and bottom of my card, the sentiment rectangle in the middle and I stuck the birthday girl on the side with foam tape.<\/div>\n
