\nI have some fun and super easy rakhi cards for you to try today!<\/div>\n
\nRakshabandhan, the festival of sibling love is coming up soon and I thought it would be fun to incorporate our national colours with this festive ocassion.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nFor the first card, I used the ‘Lace reloaded ‘ stencil from Craftangles<\/a> along with Tim Holtz ‘Carved pumpkin’ <\/a>and ‘Mowed Lawn’<\/a> distress inks to create a pretty background. <\/div>\n
\nI made a rakhi using an evil eye charm  and some white cord, and placed it in the centre of the background card panel. <\/div>\n
\nI then adhered this panel to the white card base. <\/div>\n
\nI adhered it to the inside card, using a bit of washi tape.<\/div>\n
\nI stamped the sentiments..a combination of sentiments from Flora and Fauna stamps, <\/div>\n
\nWinnie and Walter stamps and Craftangles Stamps (Happy Rakhshabandhan) to complete the card.<\/div>\n

\nFor the second card, I used the ‘Rays’  stencil from Craftangles along with Tim Holtz distress inks ‘Carved pumpkin’<\/a> and ‘Mowed lawn’.<\/a><\/div>\n

\nI created a background like I did above, and used the evil eye charm rakhi as the centre.<\/div>\n
\nThis time I used a combination of sentiments from Lawn Fawn and <\/div>\n
\nCraftangles (Happy Rakshabandhan and Happy Rakhi Bro)<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nThe third and final card is my favourite, I think.<\/div>\n
\nI used the tricolour ( Tim Holtz ‘carved pumpkin’<\/a> , ‘mowed lawn’<\/a> and ‘chipped sappire’) and the ‘skyline’ stencil from Craftangles<\/div>\n
\nto create a city skyline scene.<\/div>\n
\nI added clouds using the nature stencil and Tim Holtz ‘broken china’<\/a> distress ink.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nSo many brothers and sisters are far away from each other at this time of the year, so, <\/div>\n
\n the beautiful sentiment from Craftangles ‘Happy rakhi Bro’ stamp set <\/div>\n
\nseemed most appropriate with this background.<\/div>\n
\nI made a rakhi using a heartbeat charm..It seemed perfect with the whole card.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
