\nI’ve had the best time making these holiday cards <\/div>\n
\nusing Craftangles stencils, Craftangles white glimmer paste and Craftangles white texture paste!<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nHere we go…<\/div>\n
\nFor the first card, I used a technique called shifting..demonstrated by Tim Holtz during his new release yesterday on facebook.<\/div>\n
\nIt basically means that you apply colour through the stencil, <\/div>\n
\nshift the stencil and then apply the second colour.<\/div>\n
\nHere is a process video showing you how I created this background <\/div>\n
\nusing Craftangles ‘squares’ stencil<\/a> and Tim Holtz distress inks.<\/a><\/div>\n

\nAnd, here is a video showing you how I made the card. Im not sure about the little green leaf..but I felt the need to break the colour scheme of orange and black and brown with a pop of colour!<\/div>\n

\nFor the second card, I started by applying <\/div>\n
\nwhite glimmer paste through the Craftangles ‘Snowflakes’ stencil, <\/a><\/div>\n
\nto a white card base.<\/div>\n
\nI have been using the Impression Obsession map background a lot lately and I had some scraps.<\/div>\n
\n I used this map scrap to create the curved base for the little car (Lawn Fawn) to ride on. <\/div>\n
\nSuper cute no?<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\nHere is a detailed image of the glimmer paste.<\/div>\n

\nFor the next card, I used the Craftangles white texture paste<\/a> through the <\/div>\n
\nCraftangles ‘flower cluster’ stencil.<\/a><\/div>\n
\nWhile it was wet, I covered it with gold embossing powder.<\/div>\n
\nOnce dry, I heat embossed the gold..can you see the fabulous texture??!! <\/div>\n
\nI just LOVE how this turned out!!<\/div>\n
\nI stamped and die cut the misteltoe using Hero Arts stamps and dies <\/div>\n
\nand adhered the panel to a red card base to finish the card!<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nI have used the Craftangles white texture paste<\/a> which I have coloured using Tim Holtz Distress inks.<\/div>\n
\nI used the Craftangles ‘Marble effect’ stencil<\/a> to create this background and some Hero Arts and Impression Obsession dies to create the Christmassy foreground.<\/div>\n

\nYou can see in the video, that I started out using very little texture paste for the first colour..but then added more and as you can see, the colours have blended beautifully.<\/div>\n
