Today, I have a trio of cute cards with <u>Tone on Tone Backgrounds<\/u> achieved with the help of colored card stock, inks and stencils. So, let&#8217;s get started!<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01342Bcopy.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"678\" data-original-width=\"733\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01342Bcopy.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nI am very fond of cute images but I seldom use colored card stocks. So I challenged myself to try my hands at it.<\/p>\n<p><a name='more'><\/a><\/p>\n<p><b><u>How I made these cards<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<li>I started by placing a stencil over the colored card stock panel and applied the ink through it that matches the color of the card stock.<\/li>\n<li>Then I took another small white panel and water colored a bit.<\/li>\n<li>Then I partially stamped the image from <b>Hello Baby<\/b> and Copic colored it.<\/li>\n<li>Over the smaller panel, I stamped sentiment from <b>Everyday Sentiments<\/b>.<\/li>\n<li>And then popped the cute image on top of the panel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<b><u>CARD #1<\/u><\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01372Bcopy.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"689\" data-original-width=\"598\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01372Bcopy.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\nHere I used <b>Yellow Card Stock, Fish Net Stencil and Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink<\/b>.<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01382Bcopy.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"735\" data-original-width=\"735\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01382Bcopy.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\n<\/div>\n<p><b><u>CARD #2<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01412Bcopy.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"735\" data-original-width=\"735\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01412Bcopy.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nOn this <b>grey card stock<\/b>, I placed <b>Abstract Circles Stencil<\/b> and applied <b>London Fog Ink<\/b> through it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01422Bcopy.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"662\" data-original-width=\"662\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01422Bcopy.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\">\n<b>And here comes the final card, CARD #3<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01392Bcopy.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"735\" data-original-width=\"735\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01392Bcopy.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nOn this <b>Pink card stock<\/b>, I placed <b>Rain Drops Stencil <\/b>and applied <b>Picked Raspberry Distress Ink<\/b> through it.<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\">\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01402Bcopy.jpg\" imageanchor=\"1\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"662\" data-original-width=\"662\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_01402Bcopy.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/a><\/div>\n<p>\nAnd those were the cards for today.
