Hello!<\/p>\n

It’s Shabneez here with a selection of cards that I designed with children in mind.  With all the cards I have used CrafTangles stencils and stamp sets.  These can all be adapted to include favourite colours, images or ages.<\/p>\n

\nThe first card is perfect for a girl of any age.  I used Tim Holtz distress inks in various colours through the stars stencil.  I stamped and coloured the image then fussy cut it and added a strip of black with a heat embossed sentiment.<\/p>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\nNext up is a card for either boy or girl.  For this one I’ve spent a little more time on the background using salty ocean distress ink and inking through the stencil then spritzing with water so you get more of the water effect.<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n

I then used two circle nesting dies and made them into a frame.  I placed them on top of the waves scene.  I stamped and fussy cut the crab and starfishes and stuck them on to the circle after I stamped the sentiment inside the crab’s speech bubble.  I added this to my tent fold card blank on which I added a strip of red card.  Finally, I added a few sequins to embellish.<\/p>\n

For my final creation, it’s one using one of my favourite CrafTangles stamp sets and I didn’t even colour it!  I thought it gives the card a really good effect so if you don’t fancy colouring it just shows you don’t have to!<\/p>\n

\nFor the background I used 3 colours of distress inks through the stencil making sure the number I wanted to highlight was in the same colour every time.  So in my case the card is going to a 5 year old so all the number 5s are in red.  I’ve matted and layered with red card and added a strip of black card along the bottom and a sentiment.<\/p>\n

I hope these cards have inspired you to get out your stencils and start to create backgrounds of your own.<\/p>\n
