\nToday we celebrate the festival of kites!!<\/div>\n
\nI wanted to celebrate this festival through my cards today.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nFor m first card, I have used a motif from the Craftangles ‘Shubh Labh’ stamp set.<\/a><\/div>\n
\nI stamped the motif, masked it, stamped over it and repeated the  process till I had a string of kites. I watercoloured them, masked them again and created the sky background by using a cloud mask and distress ink.<\/div>\n
\nI finished the card with a sentiment from Verses Rubber stamps.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nI just love the versatility of this stamp that allowed me to create this happy card!<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nTo create my second card, I started with the Lawn Fawn scalloped box die, cut from white cardstock.<\/div>\n
\nI used a cloud mask and coloured the outside of the box using <\/div>\n
\nFaded Jeans  Distress ink from Tim Holtz.<\/div>\n
\nI then die cut the clouds (Simon Says Stamp) and the kites (sizzix) and, <\/div>\n
\nfixed them using strips of acetate. <\/div>\n
\nI then finished the card with a sentiment from Craftangles ‘Girl in the rain’ stamp set<\/a> and some<\/div>\n
\nCraftangles ‘Bumblebee yellow’ sequins.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nAgain the versatility of the stamp set allowed me to create such a fun and cheerful card!<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
