\nAs you can see, I have started making my Christmas cards well in time this year! <\/div>\n
\nToday, I am playing with five gorgeous stencils from Craftangles<\/a>.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nto start with, I used the ‘Doodle around’ stencil <\/a>along with Memento summer sky ink to create a dreamy icy background for my skating girl. I then stamped the image, <\/div>\n
\ncoloured it and layered it using  stitched square dies. <\/div>\n
\nI finished the card with a Christmas sentiment from Hero Arts and <\/div>\n
\nsequins from Craftangles<\/a>.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nFor the second card, I used the ‘Flourish’ stencil from Craftangles<\/a><\/div>\n
\nalong with Tim Holtz Broken China distress oxide and Chipped Sapphire distress ink t<\/a>o create a windy looking background.<\/div>\n
\nI heat embossed a sentiment from Hero Arts onto a strip of vellum and adhered it to the panel.<\/div>\n
\nI then stamped and cut out the bench and lamp (Lawn Fawn) out of card stock as well as foam (for dimension) and adhered this above the sentiment panel.<\/div>\n
\nTo finish the card, I added some Craftangles clear sequins<\/a>.<\/div>\n
\nThe card base is ‘Denim blue’ card stock from Craftangles.<\/a><\/div>\n

\nFor the third card, I started out with the ‘Argyle’ stencil<\/a> and Tim Holtz vintage photo distress ink.<\/a><\/div>\n
\nI distressed the edges of all the panels used in this card, as well as the card base, using Vintage photo distress ink, to create a vintage look. <\/div>\n
\nI also distressed the edges of the nutcracker doll (from Unity Stamp company)<\/div>\n
\nI then layered the stitched die cut panels and the fussy cut image.<\/div>\n
\nTo finish the card I added a fern die cut (impression obsession) and added a bit of <\/div>\n
\nMayArts jute ribbon.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n

\nFor my fourth card, I drew inspiration from paintings of the northern lights on Pinterest.<\/div>\n
\nI used the ‘Paisley’ stencil<\/a> and various distress inks and distress oxides<\/a> to create a look of the northern lights. I just love how this card turned out!!<\/div>\n
\nI added some die cut silhouette Christmas trees, a gold embossed sentiment on a vellum panel and some Craftangles clear sequins<\/a> to finish the card. <\/div>\n
\nThe card base is ‘Denim Blue’ card stock from Craftangles.<\/a><\/div>\n

\nFor the fifth card, I used the “Floral Mesh” stencil from Craftangles<\/a> along with <\/div>\n
\nTim Holtz ‘picked raspberries’ and ‘mowed lawn’ distress inks.<\/a><\/div>\n
\nI just love the bold colours. This is the first time I used a black card base, and I absolutely love it!!<\/div>\n
\nFor this card, I thought it best to just leave it with a simple gold embossed sentiment on a vellum panel and some gold sequins for interest.<\/div>\n
