It’s Shabneez <\/a>here with a couple of designs using the CrafTangles Beautiful Bloom stamp set.  I love the set as not only does it have an intricate bloom border, but the sentiments with it are heartfelt ones.  I absolutely adore a good sentiment so this set ticked 2 boxes for me!<\/p>\n

<\/a>For my first make, I used the spotlight technique.  I felt this stamp set worked really well with this technique.<\/p>\n

I stamped the image, then die cut circles randomly.  I used a water brush and my Zigs to colour in the stamped circles.  I added a backing of card and used foam tape to put the circles back in their place like a jigsaw puzzle.<\/p>\n

\nUsing the same circle die set, I cut out a larger circle and mounted a sentiment on – isn’t it a wonderful sentiment?!  I adhered it with foam tape again.<\/p>\n

For my second card I began by stamping and colouring in the bloom border with shades of green.  I fussy cut the border and put it to one side.<\/p>\n

\nI used a stencil with chalk ink to create the background on green cardstock and added faux stitching.<\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\n\"\"<\/a><\/div>\n
\n<\/div>\n
\nI finished by heat embossing another one of the sentiments in the set with white on black card, adding a little more faux stitching to bring it together.  To assemble the card I used a black base, cut a strip of darker green for the side and added my background card.  Finally, I adhered the fussy cut border on the top with foam tape.<\/div>\n
