{"id":438,"date":"2017-10-26T15:02:00","date_gmt":"2017-10-26T09:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/articles\/i-finally-learned-how-to-make-book\/"},"modified":"2025-10-10T16:33:22","modified_gmt":"2025-10-10T11:03:22","slug":"i-finally-learned-how-to-make-book","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/i-finally-learned-how-to-make-book\/","title":{"rendered":"DIY Traveler&#8217;s notebook signature mini album"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I finally learned how to make a book signature in the style of a traveler&#8217;s notebook.\u00a0 I took the standard measurements of a Midori Traveler&#8217;s Notebook and cut my 12&#215;12 scrapbook paper by CrafTangles to size.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Then, I cut the cover in half to allow for a wider spine.\u00a0 I laminated the cover leaving about half an inch between to the two pieces that I cut.\u00a0 The interior pages were made by measuring and just folding them in half.\u00a0 I made a cardboard template to evenly space my holes.\u00a0 I explain how to make and use the cardboard template in this video:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"nv-iframe-embed\"><iframe title=\"DIY Traveler&#039;s notebook signature mini album\" width=\"1200\" height=\"675\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/00BIjZNbZa4?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; They have been living at the hospital for almost 2 months now since she has multiple brain tumors.&nbsp; I left a lot of room for her friends to add photos and messages to her that she can flip through while laying in bed or feeling lonely.&nbsp;
