It’s Shabneez here with a Super Boy card and gift in one.  I was over the moon to receive the CrafTangles Super Boys Stamp and Die Set<\/a> among my DT package as superheroes are very popular in my household.  The images and sentiments in the set are fabulous!  I fancied making something that incorporated a small gift with a card.  Both my boys love reading, as do their friends, so I thought I’d incorporate a bookmark into a card so they have a keepsake.<\/p>\n

\nThe bookmark was easy to make.  I randomly stamped a sheet of white card with the ‘Bam!!’ phrase and cut it into a bookmark shape rounding off the corners at the top.  I added a line of sequins and a sentiment.  I stamped and coloured the image before cutting it out.<\/div>\n

\nOnce I had made the bookmark, I measured the length and made a card blank to fit, then matted and layered coloured card using similar colours that I’d used on the stamped image.<\/div>\n

\nI die cut a circle out of the card that would go on the top of the layers ensuring the image on the bookmark showed through the circle.  I added thick foam tape on the back measuring the right amount of space for the bookmark to slide into the card.<\/div>\n

\n<\/div>\n
\nAnd finally, here’s the card with bookmark inserted!<\/div>\n

\nI added another of the stamped and die cut images, together with a sentiment from the set at the bottom of the card.  That way, even if the bookmark was used straight away the card would still look good on display!<\/div>\n
