\nHi Guys, so I am back again with a mixed
\n media project, this time its a shadow box. I started with a ready made
\ncard box which I had gotten during Diwali and added some texture to it
\nusing the tissue paper with decoupage <\/a>glue
\n and then I added lots of layers using a lot of stuff lying random in my
\n house. Before I get in to the details, here is the look at the box –<\/div>\n

\nI have used a lots of Clay molds<\/a>
\n from CraftAdda, as they are one of my favorite medium to play with
\nthese days. I have also used Tim Holtz dies and some old keys lying
\naround the house. Since this shadow box is a gift to one of my friends
\non his wedding I wanted to incorporate some sentiment from their wedding
\n and hence have added H&K center piece from their Wedding Invitation
\n card.<\/div>\n

\nI was really inspired by a wired necklace at one of the blog <\/a>and
\n decided to add the Love element on the box. I got some normal wires
\nfrom the hardware store (apologies I don’t remember the name), but
\nanything that can be bended will work. Using some of the pliers and
\nhands I was able to shape the metal. I have used lot of hot glue and
\nsome stick fast to stick the metal. If someone has some other glue which
\n works best, do let me know. Once the metal was stuck I traced it down
\nusing golden Fevicryl glitter tube and then heated it to get the above
\neffect. I have colored the entire box using home made glimmer mist<\/a><\/div>\n
\n <\/div>\n

\nI have used again Vintage button clay mold to create these buttons, which are being used as clasps. I have also used some ribbon <\/a>to close the clasp which are dyed using the sprays. Now to the inside of the box –<\/div>\n

\nI die cut a piece of heart using the Die <\/a>and
\n than added some stamping and clay molds. The background texture is
\ncreated using the band aid cloth bought from a medical shop and then
\ncolored everything using sprays.<\/div>\n

\nInside I have placed their photo and some sentiments on clay mold which is mounted using  wooden clips<\/a>. I have also used some heart embellishments to decorate the project. <\/div>\n
