Painted the base with 2 coats letting them dry inbetween each coat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-1 is-cropped wp-block-gallery-2 is-layout-flex wp-block-gallery-is-layout-flex\"><ul class=\"blocks-gallery-grid\"><li class=\"blocks-gallery-item\"><figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-28-01.24.25.jpg\" alt=\"\" data-id=\"84527\" data-full-url=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-28-01.24.25-scaled.jpg\" data-link=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/?attachment_id=84527\" class=\"wp-image-84527\" title=\"\"><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Next i cut a strip from the Craftangles Floral Batik decoupage paper and stuck it using the decoupage glue. Also sealed the paper using the same glue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"580\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-28-01.46.16-768x580.jpg\" alt=\"decoupage\" class=\"wp-image-84529\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-28-01.46.16-768x580.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-28-01.46.16-300x226.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-28-01.46.16.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Chose this Beautiful design of stencil to add texture. Used the Craftangles texture paste for the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-28-01.42.16.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-84530\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Once the texture paste dried completely, covered it with the orange squash chalky paint and highlighted the texture with gold paint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Finally gave a coat of Varnish to the whole platter and while the varnish was still wet sprinkled fairy dust on the decoupage&#8217;d part . The fairy dust is just perfect to add sparkle to your projects this festive season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"768\" height=\"501\" src=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-29-09.16.24-768x501.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-84531\" title=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-29-09.16.24-768x501.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-29-09.16.24-300x196.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.craftadda.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/PicsArt_10-29-09.16.24.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To place the diya made diy stands using mini empty bottles which I Decoupage&#8217;d using the same paper.
