Hello! Today’s liquid watercolour projects took time, but they were oh! so satisfying! These are also my entries for inspiration for our current monthly challenge which is WATERCOLORS.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

My first card is a shaker card. I created a galaxy watercolour background using Craftangles cold pressed watercolour paper <\/a>and Craftangles liquid watercolours Eggplant<\/a>, Autumn Blaze<\/a> and Blackberry<\/a>. I used ‘The royals’ sequin mix from Craftangles<\/a> for the shaker. I really love how this one turned out!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the second card, I decided to try some no line colouring. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I sttamped the images onto Craftangles watercolour paper<\/a> using a light coloured distress ink. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

I then used ‘soulmate’ liquid watercolour<\/a> for the cup and ‘lemon <\/a>tart’ and ‘Oh fudge’ <\/a>to colour the croissants. The sentiment from a Christmas stamp set, seemed most appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the third card, I decided to make a ‘slimline card’. These seem to be the rage these days and I could fit my ballerinas onto this card really well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To make this card, I die cut the ballerinas from a 3.5 x 7.5 panel of white cardstock. I cut the watercolour paper roughly to the same size (I knew I would trim it down later.). I then did a watercolour wash using ‘Eggplant<\/a>‘ and ‘Autumn Blaze’<\/a> liquid watercolours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once the panel was fully dry, I cut it into panels to fit behind the individual diecut ballerinas, in a way to see the beautiful colour gradations. I adhered the watercoloured panels first and then adhered the entire panel using 3D foam tape to a folded card measuring 4″x8″. I couldn’t think of a sentiment so decided to splash some colour over the card to add some interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I did this after I finished making the video..so you wont see it there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
