The specialty in this artist paper lies in the application of surface by means of high quality felt making and pressing. Serene has a medium fine texture and a different surface than the other types of watercolor papers.
The paper is strong; great for drawing-like watercolors / pen and wash painting. This paper gives you a nice flow and accurate color reproduction.
