Pattern Marking Tool Kit
(Tracing Wheel & Fabric Marking Pen)

Simple Tracing Instructions:
(Tracing Wheel to be used with tracing paper)
1. Select tracing paper color closest to fabric color. Do not use red or blue for white fabric.
2. Place waxed side of tracing paper against wrong side of fabric.
3. Place pattern on top of tracing paper.
4. Trace pattern markings with the tracing wheel
Simple Pen Marking Instructions:
1. Lightly trace over pattern tissue markings. The ink will bleed through the tissue onto both layers of fabric making duplicative marks.
2. If fabric is too thick to transfer markings directly from the pattern onto the fabric:
• Insert pins through tissue paper and fabric at all marking points
• Starting from the outside edges working to the center, separate fabric and tissue paper just enough to put a mark at pin point; and then remove pins.
